My never ending fear of boredom continues to stalk me. As my sister’s move day approaches the itching in the back of my head grows stronger reminding me that I’ll be stranded with no Internet, no Xbox and Gamecube, and even a total lack of cable or satellite television. Now, don’t get me wrong, literacy is not a problem and I can focus for long periods of time to read a book but after two days of lugging heavy, awkwardly shaped furniture and boxes pregnant with books reading becomes a challenge. This is where video games come in handy, when you body is exhausted it is nice to pick up a nicely paced RPG and sort of stroll through your imagination.
So in my panic that Dawn of Souls will not arrive in time I snuck out yesterday and picked up a used copy of Golden Sun. Guilt by omission; I neglected to tell my wife that I picked it up while getting cat litter. Sure it was only $13.77 with tax but for some reason I always tell her when I’m buying a game, it is as if I need a stamp of approval. All the same I still haven’t come clean and I’m feeling a little furtive. I suppose that I’ll come clean sometime soon but for now it’s our little secret, ok?
