Not that I put a lot of stock in Pat Robertson but there are people out their that listen to him so when he calls for assassination of another world leader it is is distinctly possible that some people will listen. Mind you I haven’t followed this guy’s career very closely so I’m not sure if this is a regular thing for him but it is still a prime example of public figure jackassery.
Oh, and I didn’t know that communists were still a “terrific danger” to Homeland Security®. Good morning Pat, the Cold War is over and there is a McDonald’s in Red Square.
I’m going to go out on a limb and say that Pat Roberts fans are just the type of people who would actually follow through with this nonsense.
Even just believing that what he says is responsible and well within his right as a public figure is depressing enough. Gah. Speechless.
