Color Me Cynical

Could the ineffectual response of our government to the plight of New Orleans have anything to do with the fact that they voted against Bush in the last election?

    Could the fact that New Orleans voted against Bush in the last election have anything to do with the ineffectual response of our government to the plight of ANY U.S. city?

    Clearly, the answer is yes to BOTH of these questions.

    True. I am clearly disturbed that the Army is referring to operations in New Orleans as “suppressing insurgents” in “Little Somalia“. Clearly our collective government has its head so far up its collective ass that it is wearing like a jacket.
