Spent the better part of today at the hospital where Management was hooked up to a fetal monitor as she has been experiencing pre-term labor type pains for the past couple of days. After being poked, prodded, and getting yet another ultrasound done (no complaints from me about getting a chance to see my daughter) she was given a clean bill. No dilation, no infections, nothing. She is on bed rest for the next 48 hours and if the pain and cramping persists we’ll be heading back in on Monday. The experience leaves me feeling helpless but at least she has some great doctors and all of the attending nurses were some of the best I have ever met and I’m grateful for that. Hopefully, the experience at delivery time will be just as good.

yes, that definitely sounds like a stressful experience. i hope that the pregnancy and beyond move along as wonderfully as possible. best wishes!
Well I wish you guys the best of luck, and I hope everything comes out ok. I can speak from personal experience that child birth can be a stressful time. Our second pregnancy was triplets, that was one of the most insane rollercoaster of emotions I have ever had.
Good luck!
Thanks everyone! She feeling much better today, though stricken with a little cabin fever as she has been laying around now for some 18 hours. Jon, I cannot imagine the stress of waiting for more than one baby, Gabriella has been enough to render me sleepless!
Oh, ug. I’m sorry to hear of this. Having never been a dad I can’t imagine the fear/stress, but I do empathize. Please keep updates on your site on how baby elwoodicious is faring!
