   I fear we, as a nation, will not recover from this. I used to be optimistic about the general nature of people but as of late the ignorance, hate, and nationalism all neatly packaged as patriotism has burned me to a stub. As long as there are bread and circuses (hot wings and NASCAR) to distract us those in power will continue to rape and pillage The Constitution and The Bill of Rights.
