Oh, The Irony!

In the continuing chronicles of why Texas sucks, Parent criticizes book ‘Fahrenheit 451′ because, “The book had a bunch of very bad language in it…It shouldn’t be in there because it’s offending people…If they can’t find a book that uses clean words, they shouldn’t have a book at all.”  Might I suggest a burning? Dumbasses.

    wow, that sure is ironic. guess i need to read farenheit 451 - that wasn’t on my required reading list during school. it was interesting to read through other people’s comments to that story.

    By all means pick it up! Bradbury is one of my favorite authors, read most of his work while in high school. For me, tops include: Something Wicked This Way Comes, The Martian Chronicles, Dandelion Wine, The Illustrated Man, and I Sing The Body Electric. And yeah, my irony meter needs to go in for repairs…
