Hmmm, my upload is the same as yours but my download sucks. Actually, I know from experience that my dl speed is roughly double what this test measured…
I posted an image but it got snarfed:

Hmmm, could be the hops to the server. I know that some of the tests I’ve taken in the past aren’t accurate because of delays in packet routing. In my area the most of my traffic is routed to New York and then out and when we first got DSL the bridge out was constantly getting knocked offline so that only like 20% of the Internet was available. Between that and the handful of radius servers to handle all of the state it was slightly less than pleasant.
Heres mine. Are you guys on DSL or Cable?

DSL for me. We got it a little over six years ago signing up as soon as it was offered in our town. I prefer it over the cable offering in our area because they don’t port block (self-hosting = muy importante) and the point-to-point nature of the technology cuts back on the slow downs when kids aren’t in school. How’s your cable service? Solid?
DSL also…pretty reliable and now that I’m downtown, much faster than when I was in the burbs…
It is as solid as I could ask. I have DSL at the dance studio, but it seems alot slower than my cable at home.
