There are men - now in power in this country - who do not respect dissent, who cannot cope with turmoil, and who believe that the people of America are ready to support repression as long as it is done with a quiet voice and a business suit.—John Lindsay

It’s supposed to warm up here today/tomorrow so don’t sweat it!
dang! that’s cold! arctic cold?
Yeah, that’s cold, all right.
We’ve had a few days that low, but not many. Right now we’re in the middle of our sixth weekend in a row with new snow. The first time, before Christmas, it was nice. With each successive storm, though, it’s become less and less charming. I’m ready for a change.
I’m counting myself lucky that all the snow we’ve had this season melted by mid-morning on the single day it happened. I hate shoveling.
The fact that “Real Feel” is a registered trademark (& it’s within the contex of WEATHER) is a bit disheartening. As if the bitter cold isn’t bringing me down enough! I suppose my virtual reality “self-help” book that I was planning to write in 20 years will have to take on a DIFFERENT title.
