    the camera looks pretty. makes me wish for an upgrade for my old camera, but then i barely even use it.

    It’s odd, both of us have always owned a camera and most of the time they were nothing really good (except the Elph when we got married but prints were expensive) and for what ever reason we never took pictures.

    When we found out about Gabi last year though, we started making a concerted effort to take our cheap-ass digital everywhere we went no matter how embarrassing it might be for one of us to snap shots on a crappy sub $100 USD camera. After a couple of months it became second nature to document our lives and we started desiring better cameras (note the plural, management wanted her own and we picked up a Kodak V803 this past weekend). Getting Flickr accounts helped fuel the photo bug as well…

    So where am I going with my rambling? Hell, just take pictures. Shoot everything. If your memory is as spotty as mine you’ll really appreciate having photos to rely on as I wish we took more pictures in the 10 years we’ve been together. ;-)
