Two Blossoms and a Fly

Pink Blossoms

The Fly

Blue Blossoms

Just a quick turnaround in my mother’s garden yesterday afternoon.  I had hoped to chase the kids around but alas the weather was fickle, flipping from balmy and still to cool and windy in a blink.  Though I still got some good shots of the kids playing inside and will be posting those soon.

Thanks! One of the things I need to learn is white balance bracketing and definitely man up and start shooting RAW. :-D

I would have to agree with the RAW part. I love shooting in RAW, lets me be able to fix most of the things you don’t see on the little LCD on the back of your camera without too much trouble.

As usual, your photography is brilliant! I especially like the pink flowers.. did you use manual focus for that shot?

/me is Jealous of your SLR ;)

Thanks! Well, manual focus is another place where I need to man up and learn it. For most of the flower shots I play around with targeted auto-focusing mostly because I don’t trust my eyes enough but I think that I’m beginning to get a feel for what is and isn’t in focus via the viewfinder. :-D
