Bailey is, as were are told, an Australian Shephard/Labrador Retriever Mix. What I do know is that she has freakishly huge paws, a penchant for licking faces, and a mighty strong dislike for nighttime crate training. We got her through the Double Dog Rescue and she originally hails from Tennesse where apparently no one spays or nueters their pets nor takes in unwanted ones as Bailey arrived on a truck with many other dogs, puppies to adults, hoping for a better homelife in Connecticut.

Saturday morning I noticed that our hostas are finally in bloom.
After packing everyone up into two cars we drove over to the dog park in Granby.
Peri wasn’t the only one having fun, Gabi was enraptured with the dogs watching them for three hours occasionally cheering them on as they chased each other about.
Playing is thirsty work.
We had such a good time on Saturday that we repeated it on Sunday and this little guy took it upon himself to keep Gabi amused with his antics.
After a busy weekend we got up this morning to this sight.
This is what I do Monday through Friday: ride in the back and take pictures.
In the scant twenty-four hours that I have had this camera I’ve managed to squeeze off some 500+ shots. While most have been pure crap occasionally some really sweet and candid pictures have emerged. Below are three of my favorites that we are having printed as 8×10’s to hang on the wall.
